Reason and treatment of sealing leakage of reaction kettle

Fault phenomenon: seal leakage

◆Cause of failure:

Packing seal

1Stirring shaft is worn or corroded at the packing, resulting in too large a gap;

2Improper position of oil ring or blockage of oil circuit can not form oil seal;

3The gland is not pressed tightly, the quality of packing is poor, or it is used for too long;

4, packing box corrosion.

Mechanical seal

1Deformation of dynamic and static ring end face, bruising;

2, the end of the surface pressure is too large, the friction side of the thermal deformation;

3, sealing ring selection material is not right, not enough compression force, or V-shaped sealing ring installed in reverse, losing sealing;

4, axis and static ring end face vertical error is too large;

5, operating pressure, temperature instability, hard particles into the friction vice;

6, the amount of shaft string exceeds the target;

7Leakage from the set joints of dynamic and static rings.

 

◆Handling method:

◎ Packing seal:

1Replace or repair the mixing shaft and process it on machine tool to ensure the roughness;

2Adjust the position of oil ring and clean the oil circuit;

3Press the packing, or replace the packing;

4, repair or replacement;

◎ Mechanical seal:

1, replace the friction vice or regrind;

2, adjust the ratio of pressure to be appropriate, strengthen the cooling system, take away the heat in time;

3, seal selection, installation should be reasonable, there should be enough compression force;

4, stop the machine, re-finding, to ensure that the non-perpendicularity is less than 0.5mm;

5, strict control of process indicators, particles and crystals can not enter the friction vice;

6, adjustment, overhaul to make the shaft runout to standard;

7Improve the installation process, or the amount of surplus should be appropriate, or the adhesive should be good and firm.
