Working principle:
Thin film evaporator: Based on the heat transfer characteristics of the thin film surface, the mixture is coated on the surface of the thin film and then heated and depressurized to evaporate.
Distillation device: Utilizing the boiling point differences of each component in the mixture, heating it to boiling point and separating it through intermolecular collisions or condenser.
Scope of application:
Thin film evaporator: suitable for separating components in low boiling point mixtures.
Distillation device: Molecular distillation apparatus is particularly suitable for high boiling point mixtures, while distillers have different applicability based on the design of internal condensers.
Energy consumption and cost:
Thin film evaporator: usually has low energy consumption, small equipment size, and relatively low cost.
Distillation equipment, especially molecular distillation apparatus, requires high vacuum system and high-precision temperature control, resulting in high cost.
Separation efficiency and purity:
Thin film evaporator: The separation efficiency and purity are relatively low, about 90%.
Distillation device: The molecular distillation apparatus has high separation efficiency and purity, reaching over 99.9%.
