Glass-lined reactor anti-corrosion measures

The anti-corrosion measures of glass-lined reactor mainly include choosing suitable operating conditions, using anti-corrosion layer protection and paying attention to operational details.

Choose suitable operating conditions:

The operating temperature of glass-lined reaction kettle should be controlled within the range of 0-200℃, and ensure that the resistance to rapid temperature change is ≥200℃, in order to avoid corrosion or bursting of porcelain phenomenon caused by excessive temperature change.

When heating the reaction kettle, suitable steam pressure should be selected according to the heating temperature to reduce the corrosion condition.

Adopt anti-corrosion layer protection:

The glass-lined layer itself is a kind of anticorrosion layer, which plays a role in resisting chemical corrosion by applying special glass rich in high silica to the inner wall of the steel vessel and closely adhering to the metal surface after high-temperature treatment.

On the outer surface of the equipment, an additional layer of resin anti-corrosion layer can be made to provide additional protection. If the equipment needs thermal insulation treatment, a layer of anti-corrosion layer should also be done first.

Pay attention to operation details:

The surface of the equipment should be frequently rinsed with clean water to slow down the occurrence of corrosion. However, it should be noted that this method may cause water contamination and is therefore not the best solution.

When using the glass-lined reactor, the temperature should be raised and lowered slowly and evenly, and the cooling should be graded to avoid the phenomenon of bursting porcelain caused by the rapid temperature change.

Strictly prevent any metal and hard objects from falling into the kettle, so as not to cause impact damage to the glass lining layer. In case of clogging, it must be unblocked with plastic rod.
